Samsung is reportedly working on the refurbished model of the Galaxy Note 7 which is rumored to launch in limited markets in the coming months.
According to a new report, Samsung is reportedly going to launch the refurbished handset as Galaxy Note 7 FE or “Fandom Edition” on July 7th.
Unfortunately, the device is expected to make an appearance in the company’s home market only, and may launch in other developing countries — it’s not officially coming to the United States at the moment.
Rumors suggests the company made some changes to the handset to counter the battery issue which led to the demise of the handset — the device is expected to come with a smaller battery compared to the original Galaxy Note 7.
As for the pricing, it’s expected to carry a price tag of around $600 at the time of launch, which is quite lower than the original price at which the phablet launched last year.
There’s no official word from the Korean company at the moment about the launch of the handset and the markets where it will be available. We’ll update you as soon as we get to hear anything more.
