The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is expected to be released later in the year, so far we have not heard many details about Samsung’s new Note phablet.
Now according to a recent report, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will get a consumer version of their Gear VR headset.
Samsung released a new Gear VR this week for developers which works with the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, which is powered by Oculus.
It looks like a new consumer version of the Gear VR, powered by Oculus will be released alongside the new Samsung Galaxy Note 5, the news comes from Oculus Rift’s John Carmack who has revealed that a consumer version will be released in Samung’s next release cycle, which would be the new Galaxy Note 5.
“Oculus is going big, full consumer with Samsung at the next Gear VR release.” said John Carmack
As soon as we get some more details on the new Galaxy Note 5, including some actual specifications on the handset, we will let you guys know.
