The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is expected to be made official at a Samsung Unpacked press event at IFA in September, and now according to a recent report, we have a date for the event.
Samsung will apparently make the new Samsung Galaxy Note 4 official at a Samsung press event on the 3rd of September, the event has yet to be officially confirmed, and Samsung will apparently send out invites to the event in August.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is rumored to keep the same display size as the Note 3, the handset is said to come with a 5.7 inch QHD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
Samsung are rumored to be launching the Note 4 with different processors in different regions, one will apparently get a Samsung Exynos Hexa core processor, the other will get a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor.
As the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 comes with 3GB of RAM, we are expecting Samsung to launch the Note 4 with 4GB of RAM, we know that the device will come with at least 3GB of RAM, as we doubt Samsung will launch the new model with less RAM than the Note 4.
The new Samsung Galaxy Note will apparently come with a choice of 32GB or 64GB of built in storage, and it is also rumored to come with a microSD card slot that will take up to 128GB cards. We can also expect the handset to come with front and rear facing cameras.
The existing Note 3 features a 2 megapixel camera on the front, Samsung could decide to update this to a 5 megapixel camera in the new Note 4, although we are yet to hear anything about this as yet.
The rear camera on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is rumored to either be the same 16 megapixel camera as in the Galaxy S5 or a new 20 megapixel camera, of course this is yet to be confirmed.
We also heard rumors previously that The Note 4 would come with a new version of Android, although this all depends on when Google releases their next major update, if a new version of Android is not out by September, then we can expect the Note 4 to come with Android 4.4 Kit Kat.
If Samsung does announce the new Samsung Galaxy Note 4 at their IFA press event on the 3rd of September, then we can expect the device to go on sale some time in September.
