Not too long ago, Samsung released its camera-centric Galaxy K Zoom. It’s not surprising that the Korean OEM failed to mention its price tag for different regions. Earlier this month, some rumors hinted that it will cost around 499 Euros, at least in Europe.
If you’re residing in the UK, and want to get your hands on the device, you be glad to find out Samsung UK has started taking pre-orders of the device in its online store for £400.
The handset is available in all three colors, and will start shipping to the customers from May 29th. This means users who will pre-order the device must wait for at least a week before they can get their hands on this camera phone. The price tag is pretty high, but it may come down in the coming weeks once its readily available in the market.
As a gentle reminder, the new Samsung Galaxy K Zoom comes with a 4.8-inch display sporting a 720p resolution, and is powered by Samsung’s hexa core processor made up of a quad core 1.3GHz processor and a dual core 1.7GHz processor. It also comes with 2GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot for expandable storage.
The most interesting feature is the 20.7 megapixel camera with a dedicated Xenon flash, as well as a 2.1MP front-facing camera and a 2,430 mAh battery. On the software side, it runs the latest Android 4.4 KitKat.
Sound off in the comments below if you’re planning to pre-order the camera-centric device.
