We heard a rumor recently that Samsung may be getting ready to launch their Galaxy Fold smartphone. The launch of the handset was put on hold after issues with the display on review units were discovered.
Now Samsung has emailed customers who pre-order the handsets to let them know they do have have a launch date for the device as yet.
The company has give customers the option to cancel their pre-order of the device and have said that “If we do not hear from you and we have not shipped by May 31st, your order will be canceled automatically,”.
According to Reuters this is due to US regulations where Samsung has to let people know that their orders will be cancelled unless they agree to it being extended beyond the 31st of May.
As soon as we get some more information on exactly when the new Samsung Galaxy Fold will launch, we will let you guys know.
