In the past, we’ve heard several times that Samsung is working on a premium Galaxy F series smartphone that will see the daylight later this year.
Well, according to a new rumor, the alleged Galaxy F will launch alongside the upcoming Galaxy S5 later this year, possibly at the Mobile World Congress 2014.
The rumor emerged from a Korean website ETNews, who are citing industry insiders, suggesting that Samsung has already manufactured a prototype device in Europe, and may launch with the highly rumored Galaxy S5. The report doesn’t shed any light on the specifications of the handset, but it’s rumored to come with a metallic chassis.
Additionally, the publication notes that it’s going to see the daylight at the same time as the Galaxy S5, and there’s no word about the difference in specifications of both devices. Remember the rumor we heard that Samsung is working on two versions of the Galaxy S5, one with a plastic design and the other with a metallic. Well, it could be true, but don’t just put your entire faith on this report.
It’s just a rumor and should be taken with a pinch of salt. Samsung is working on several devices and is expected to showcase them at the Mobile World Congress 2014, which will take place in late February. We’ll update you once we have any information about the alleged handsets.
