The Samsung Galaxy Alpha was announced yesterday, and Vodafone UK just dropped us an email to let us know that the handset will be available on their range of contracts when the device launches next month.
Vodafone did not provide any details on how much the new Samsung Galaxy Alpha will retail for on their network, although they did say that they would have the handset available in a range of colors, including Charcoal Black, Dazzling White, Frosted Gold and Sleek Silver at launch.
As a reminder, the Samsung Galaxy Alpha comes with an octa core Samsung Exynos 5430 processor which features a quad core processor clocked at 1.8GHz and a quad core processor clocked at 1.3GHz.
Other specifications on the handset include a 4.7 inch high definition Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, plus 2GB of RAM and 32GB of built in storage.
Unfortunately the handset does not come with a microSD card slot, so the storage cannot be expanded, the device comes with a 2.1 megapixel front camera and a 12 megapixel rear camera, plus WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and a 1,860 mAh battery.
As soon as we get some more details on when the Samsung Galaxy Alpha will be available from Vodafone, and how much it will retail for, we will let you guys know.
