Last week the new Samsung Galaxy A7 smartphone was shown off at a press event in Malaysia and now Samsung has officially announced the latest smartphone in their new Galaxy A Series.
The Samsung Galaxy A7 is equipped with 5.5 inch HD Super AMOLED display, and the device comes with Android 4.4 KitKat.
“We strive to develop devices that appeal to a broad range of consumers and are ahead of the next big social trend,” said JK Shin, CEO and Head of IT & Mobile Communication at Samsung Electronics. “Combining both a stunning metallic design and a powerful performance, the Galaxy A7 is stylish while delivering the superior user experience.”
The Galaxy A7 comes with two different processors, the 4G LTE version of the handset is powered by an eight core Snapdragon 615 processor and the 3G and 4G LTE version of the device comes with an eight core Samsung Exynos 5430 processor.
The handset also comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of included storage, there is also a microSD card slot which supports up to 64GB of extra storage.
The Galaxy A7 features a 5 megapixel front facing camera and a 13 megapixel rear camera with an LED flash and auto focus, the device also comes with some features including Wide Selfie, Rear-cam Selfie, Beauty Face Features.
The Samsung Galaxy A7 comes with a 2600 mAh battery plus WiFi, Bluetooth, A-GPS + GLONASS and NFC on the LTE only version, there will also be single and dual SIM versions of the device, the handset measures just 6.3mm thick.
Samsung have said that their new Galaxy A7 smartphone will go on sale before the end of quarter one, the company has yet to announce any pricing for the handset,you can find more information at the link below.
