Earlier this month, Samsung introduced the second generation Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5, and Galaxy A7 smartphones with updated internals.
The company didn’t announce an exact availability date when the handsets launched, but it seems both the Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 are now available for purchase in China.
It’s not too surprising as Samsung’s websites usually go on sale in China a little earlier than other regions for some smartphones. As for the smallest of the lot, the Galaxy A3, it’s not listed on the Samsung China website, but it’s likely that we may get to see it in the coming days.
As for pricing, the Samsung Galaxy A5 is priced at 2398 Yuan ($370) while it’s bigger sibling, the Galaxy A7, carries a 2,699 Yuan ($420) price tag. All four color options introduced with the handsets are available for purchase the company’s China website.
Samsung Galaxy A5 comes with a 5.2-inch Full HD display, an octa-core 1.6Ghz processor paired with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, a 13MP camera for photos and videos, 5MP front-facing camera, a 2,900 mAh battery and ships with Android 5.1 Lollipop.
As for the bigger Galaxy A7, it rocks a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels, an octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of storage coupled with a microSD card slot for expansion. Other features include 13MP rear camera with optical image stabilization, a 3,300 mAh battery and ships with Android 5.1 Lollipop.
