We have already seen a leaked photo and heard some specifications on the new Samsung Galaxy A5, and now it looks like the handset is headed to the U.S.
The Samsung Galaxy A5 has been spotted at the FCC and the devices comes with support for the LTE-FDD Band 5, this is apparently the band that is used by mobile carrier U.S. Cellular.
As we heard previously the Samsung Galaxy A5 will come with a 5 inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, the handset will be powered by a quad core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor.
Other specifications on the Samsung Galaxy A5 will include 2GB of RAM and 16GB of included storage, plus a microSD card slot for expansion.
The handset will come with front and rear facing cameras, on the front of the Galaxy A5 there will be a 5 megapixel camera for Selfies and video chat, on the back there will be a 13 megapixel camera for photos and video, and it will come with Android 4.4 Kit Kat and features a 2,330 mAh battery.
As yet there are no details on when the new Samsung Galaxy A5 will launch, Samsung will also be launching two other models in the series, the Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A7.
