The Samsung Foldable Smartphone is expected to launch next year, Samsung are rumored to be unveiling the handset at Mobile World Congress in February 2019.
As this device will steal the show at MWC, Samsung are rumored to be launching the Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus in January, this years Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus launched at MWC.
We have been hearing rumors about the Samsung Foldable Smartphone for some time, the handset is rumored to launch as the Samsung galaxy X. One thing we have not heard much information about is the price.
According to a recent report the new Samsung galaxy X smartphone could possibly cost as much as $2,000 when it launches. The handset is rumored to feature two 3.5 inch displays that will fold out into one single 7 inch display.
The $2,000 price for this new smartphone seems high, the device is rumored to cost 2 million won in South Korea, which is about $1,850 before any subsidies from the mobile carriers. Considering the technology that will be used in the device will be new, we suspect that this pricing could be about right.
We are looking forward to seeing this new foldable smartphone from Samsung, as soon as we get some more details on the device, we will let you guys know.
