We have been hearing rumors about the new Samsung foldable smartphone for quite some time, the handset is coming next year and we had previously heard it may launch as the Samsung Galaxy X.
According to a recent report the new foldable smartphone from Samsung may not actually the called the Galaxy X when the handset launches.
The news comes in a tweet from @MMDDJ who has said that this will not be the name for the Samsung Foldable Smartphone it launches in early 2019.

Samsung are expected to launch the handset in early 2019 some rumors have suggested a launch of the device in January whilst others have suggested that we will see the handset in February at Mobile World Congress 2019.
The handset is rumored to comer with a curved battery and it will feature a 7 inch display which can be folded in half. It is also rumored to come with a secondary display which can be used for notifications and more when the display is folded in half.
The device is rumored to be expensive and could cost as much as $2,000 when it launches early in 2019, this is one handset we are looking forward to seeing.
