Samsung has today announced a number of new features that it has rolled out to its ChatON mobile messaging service for users to enjoy within the latest 3.5 ChatON update.
Samsung’s ChatON applications currently supports a range of mobile OS’s including Android, iOS, BlackBerry, Windows Phone, and is also available to use on PC systems.
New features within ChatON include a new increased file sharing limit of up to 1 GB allowing you to enjoy even higher quality video clips by the ChatON service. It will also feature an increased capacity for group chats, increasing the upper limit from 200 to 1,001 people.
Other major new features added to the Samsung ChatON application is the ability for users to recall message that they may have sent to a friend in 1:1 chat rooms, even if the receiver has already read them. To carry out this function ChatON users need only hold the message bubble and select ‘Recall’ to make the message disappear.
Samsung ChatON Version 3.5 has also brought enhanced translation features with the addition of Arabic, Turkish, Farsi and Hindi, bringing the total number of languages supported by ChatON to 14, explains Samsung.
