Bixby is Samsung’s voice activated assistant for its Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus smartphones, the software is only available in South Korea at the moment, Samsung has not revealed exactly when it will launch in the US as yet.
Now Samsung has added a new feature to Bixby in South Korea, the ability to make payments using voice commands and you can also check your accounts using voice commands.
Bixby supports payments with voice commands with Shinhan Bank, Woori Bank or KEB Hana Bank in South Korea and you can also check you accounts with these banks.
This new feature works with the Samsung Pay app on the Galaxy S8, so that will need to be setup for the feature to work.
Samsung is expected to make this feature available in other countries, although it is not clear as yet on whether it will be made available at the same time as Bixby launches or at a later date.
