Following on from the unveiling of their new Samsung Galaxy Note II, Samsung has also unveiled their new Samsung ATIV Tab Windows RT Tablet, at the IFA consumer electronics trade show this week in Berlin.
Samsung’s new ATIV Tab tablet features a Windows 8 operating system and is equipped with a 10.1 inch touchscreen display, and comes with a 8,200 mAh battery, includes both USB and uHDMI connections.
The Samsung ATIV Tab has been designed by Samsung to provide a portable desktop replace allowing you to edit and create documents on the move, Samsung explains:
“It instantly boots up without lagging and comes with Office Home and Student 2013 RT, offering the new versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote to help transform the way people get things done at home, school or work. These applications are fully featured with complete document compatibility, meaning people can open and create any document, make edits on it and share it with others just like we do with PCs.”
No information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet by Samsung for their ATIV Tab but it will come bundled with Office Home and Student 2013. As more information becomes available we will keep you updated as always.
