Runners looking to improve their running form may be interested in a new pair of running headphones created by Soul Electronics and this week showcased at CES 2018 in Las Vegas. The new Run Free Pro Bio earphones have been specially designed to alert you when your running form is not as good as it could be, providing you with quick tips on how to correct it as you run. The Run Free Pro Bio running earphones support Bluetooth 4.0, are sweat-proof, have interchangeable ear locks and are fitted with an integrated rechargeable battery that is capable of providing up to 8 hours of playback on a single charge.
Sensors within the Run Free Pro Bio earphones track a wide variety of different parameters which are used by runners to track form and prevent injury. Including cadence or steps per minute, step length, step width, vertical oscillation or the bounce of your body up and down, head tilt angle, stance, flight time, shock, maximum leg force, balance and consistency.
As well as tracking your running form the headphones are also capable of tracking standard fitness measurements such as calories burned, distance, time as well as your performance and progress over each run. Allowing you to view your running data on the smartphone companion application available to download for both Android and iOS devices. The Soul Electronics’ Run Free Pro Bio running headphones will be available to purchase during the spring 2018 months and will be priced at around $150. In addition to the running earbuds, Soul Electronics also unveiled their new Blade headphones that will be released during the fall 2018 and will retail for $250 take the form of two separate earbuds that support Bluetooth 5.0, and are also sweat-proof.
