There are various rumors going on about the expected launch of HTC’s flagship device — HTC One — on Verizon. Rumors earlier suggested that it would be 1st August while another rumor suggested that it has been postponed to 15th August. A new rumor reveals that it will be launched exclusively in Blue color on the Big Red.
Some sources of PhoneArena suggest that the device will be available in blue color. They managed to get some information from Verizon’s inventory system that specified the SKU (Stock keeping unit) number of the HTC One that shows “HTC One in Blue” in its description. This might be true as another US carrier — Sprint — managed to launch the same device in red color, so it makes sense for Verizon to go for another color for exclusivity.
The sources also confirmed that the device will be launched in August but didn’t mention any specific date and didn’t even confirm the rumored 15th August launch date. There is no word about the pricing as well but they must make sure to offer the device at an attractive price.
Otherwise, there are a wide range of options available for users and most of them just care about how reasonable the price is rather than it’s color. It’s not just for HTC One, the device is available for sale on many carriers since it’s launch and with all the Moto X hype going on, they better offer something that can drive the attention of customers from Moto X or Galaxy S4. As there is no denying to the fact that it offers a much better hardware compared to Moto X.
