Rotio has created a new drawing tool specifically designed to provide greater control and more accuracy when sketching out ideas and drawing line work details. Designed to be an intuitive tool the Rotio Compass offers an easy way to create curves and circles. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the Rotio Compass which has been designed by two professional industrial designers.
Inspiration for the Rotio Compass came after its creators noticed “how many people are reluctant to draw and express their creativity through fear of being judged”, “Part of this issue is that the bar has been set so high, people don’t have the confidence to draw” explains the team at Rotio.
The Rotio Campus is available in two versions the Rotio Standard and the Rotio Plus compass and both size compass are available in black or silver finish. The holes are spaced at 5mm radius increments and has a circle range of ⌀40mm to ⌀140mm for the standard size and to ⌀40mm to ⌀200mm for the plus size. “The proportions were developed around the standard A4 paper size. The largest circle of the Plus size fits within the width of an A4 paper sheet.”
The Rotio Compass is now available to back via Kickstarter from just £10 with delivery expected to take place during November 2018. A set of two Rotio Compasses is also available priced at £18 for early bird backers.
