For just the cost of a mid range laptop, you will shortly be able to have your very own personal robotic helper around the house. Luna is a 5ft tall personal robot that has been designed to be able be completely expandable and even comes with it own app store.
Luna was created by RoboDynamics and is fitted with 8 “Luna Expansion Ports” together with 8-inch touchscreen, two cameras, wireless connectivity, a three-mic array, and a variety of sensors. Luna also comes with its own Luna CloudNet service where third-parties can sell additional functionality such as face recognition to app developers to enhance Luna’s features and capabilities.

The RoboDynamics Luna is is the world’s first personal robot integrating three unique feature sets : Luna is (1) completely expandable via expansion ports, (2) fully programmable with open standards and, above all, (3) affordable.
The industrial design work for Luna addressed dual and conflicting demands between design and engineering. The engineering challenge was to incorporate the client’s existing and proven TiLR robot hardware, firmware, and drive train. The design challenge was to create an original and compelling techno-beauty that would engage users and invite interaction.
