Coffee drinkers that would like to roast their own coffee beans in the convenience of their home, may be interested in a new desktop coffee roasting machine called the Power Roaster, designed by Raymond Lay. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the home coffee roaster that is capable of freshly roasting your coffee beans in just six minutes. The Power Roaster has been designed for simplicity, yet provides home roasting capabilities similar to that from any “home or commercial machine on the market”, says its developer.
Power Roaster has this week launched via Kickstarter and is now available to back with pledges starting at £186. If all goes well early bird backers can expect to receive their coffee bean roasting machines during September 2018. Pledges also include 1kg of 100 percent green Arabic coffee and the roasting machine is available with either 220 or 110 volt power connections. “After years of research and working with a coffee roasting prototype machine built for use in the home, we have finalized our elegant design and have been very satisfied with its function and longevity.”
