Earlier today we saw some benchmarks for the new iPad Air 2, and now we have some more for another new Apple device, the Retina iMac 2014.
The Retina iMac was launched by Apple last week, and this latest Apple desktop comes with some impressive specifications, which include the latest Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors and Apple’s new 5K Retina display.
In the Multi Core Geekbench 3 score the new Retina iMac with a 4.0GHz Intel Core i7 processor actually score higher than the entry level Apple Mac Pro.
You can see how the new iMac performs when compared to previous years models, and the high end version score 16407 which compares to 14768 for last years high end model.
The 5K retina display on the new iMac has a resolution of 5120 x 2880 pixels, and the device comes with a massive 1.47 million pixels, as well as a choice of Intel Core processors, you can also choose from a range of Apple Fusion drives and Solid State Drive, and can choose up to 32GB of RAM.
