As well as announcing their new external graphics card, Razer has also introduced their newly updated Razer Blade 15.6″ gaming laptop range which offer different specifications to suit a variety of different budgets and applications.
At launch Razer is making available five models offering differentiations in screen, graphics and storage. Although all systems will come equipped with standard Vapour chamber cooling for 30% more TDP than the old Blade, Intel 8th Gen Core i7-8750H (6 core 12 thread) 2.2 GHz (base) to 4.1 GHz (max boost), Intel Mobile HM370 chipset, 16GB DDR4 2667 MHz (upgradable to 32GB).
Connections on the laptop include 1x mDP, 1x HDMI 2.0b, 1x USB-C Thunderbolt 3, 3x USB 3.1 together with Dolby Atmos audio, dual front facing stereo speakers and a 3.5mm jack. Connectivity is provided by Intel Wireless-AC 9260 giving 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac support and Bluetooth 5.0 technology. “At just 0.66” thin, the award-winning gaming laptop is now even more compact, but fully packed with features for incredible performance. Plus, with a larger 15.6” edge-to-edge display and a 144Hz refresh rate, you can enjoy gaming and streaming on a fast, vivid screen.” Other features include Anti-Ghosting Razer Chroma (RGB) keyboard, and one megapixel 720p web camera with a microphone array and a rechargeable 80 Wh battery.
