Phoronix are expecting an announcement very shortly for the open source Raspberry Pi graphic drivers. Which are currently being created by independent developers.
It still not 100 percent clear if where the announcement will originate from, whether it will come from independent developers or Broadcom. But the Liliputing website has a source that state it might be the latter.
