If you fancy powering along in the water without the need for a boat, the Radinn Electric Wakeboard created by Swedish company Radinn, might be just the gadget you need.

The Radinn Electric Wakeboard is constructed from lightweight carbon fiber and is equipped with lightweight lithium batteries making the board easy to carry and small enough to fit in the back of a car. Radinn explains more about the inspiration behind the innovative new wakeboard.
“It all started 2012 when the founder Philip Werner, a Swedish wakeboarder who had an idea about making a electric powered wakeboard decided to make one as a side-project while studying at Lund University.
Radinn AB was founded 2013. We created a great team, got a lot of support, finance, and Philip together with our great engineers Oskar Odén and Filip Böttcher and other development partners made more prototypes, did a lot of testing, started collaborations with factories and made our first demoboards.
In May 2014 we showed the world the first electric powered wakeboard ever! Now we have been hard-testing and optimizing the board before we start the production of the first batch of pre-ordered boards this winter. “
Unfortunately no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet for the Radinn Electric Wakeboard, but as soon as information comes to light we will keep you updated as always.
