The QNAP NMP-1000P multimedia player can accept a 3.5-inch SATA hard drive with up to 2TB for local content storage.
Inside, QNAP has added a Sigma Designs SMP8643 SoC, a 667MHz CPU with a floating point processor, and support for 1080/24p playback.
