If you have just purchased a new Apple Magic TrackPad but feel the battery expense might become a problem Mark Bog has created a USB hack that will save you pounds and the environment.
Mark ditched the dual AA batteries inside of his Magic Trackpad and built a battery-sized adapter to feed it the required power.
The system consists of a small piece of dowel with screw at each end a USB cord connected to the corresponding pole of the adapter and viola a USB Magic TrackPad.
