Sony has this this week confirmed that their PS4 Planetside 2 game that will soon be launching on Sony’s next-generation PlayStation 4 games console, supporting gaming at a resolution of 1080p.
Sony also confirmed that they will be showcasing their new PS4 Planetside 2 game at the upcoming E3 games event that will be taking place between June 10-12th 2014.
Allowing attendees of this year E3 2014 to be able to play and get their hands on the new and highly anticipated console version of the popular Planetside 2 first-person shooter (FPS) video game, that has been available to play on PC for around two years.
SOE creative director Matt Higby, announced the confirmation of the new details during a PlanetSide 2 Twitch stream. Revealing that the PS4 PS2 development team is still optimising the MMO shooter for PS4 console, with bespoke user interface and control mechanics. Unfortunately no information on a PS4 Planetside 2 release date has been announced as yet by SOE, but the PS4 Planetside 2 game is expected to launch later this year on the Sony next-gen console.
