Following on from Microsoft’s announcement that their new next-generation Xbox One games console will require owners to take out an Xbox Live Gold subscription to use many of the features which have been unveiled over the previous months.
Sony has been quick to announce that their new next-generation PlayStation 4 console will allow any owners to record gaming footage without the need for them to take out an additional subscription to Sony’s PlayStation Plus service.
SCE Worldwide Studios head Shuhei Yoshida announced the news on Twitter this morning when asked directly by fans whether the PlayStation 4 game console would require a PlayStation Plus membership to record and streaming gameplay.
The news is another thorn in the side of Microsoft and the launch of their new next-generation Xbox One games console which is struggling to win over the hearts and minds of gamers worldwide.
