Panasonic was proud to announce two new additions to the Toughbook family this week. These are the CF31 and the CF19 that each have an impressive list of specs to their credit.
Let’s start with the CF31, it has got a 10.1 inch movable touch screen, a Core i5 1.20GHz CPU,Intel QM57 Express chipset, 2 GB of memory, 160 GB HDD, Bluetooth 2.1, two USB ports plus an SD card slot, Gigabit Ethernet interface, Windows 7 compatible and impressive dust/water resistance. You can also drop it from a height of 90cm.
Now on to its bulkier sibling the CF19, you have a bigger 13 inch stationary screen with LED backlight, Core i5 240GHz CPU, 2 GB memory, WiFi, Bluetooth and Ethernet, also Windows 7 compatible, four USB ports and let’s not forget a lot more heft.
Though already available in Japan, the word is zip on an international release. In case you wanna buy one, the CF31 is more expensive at $5,400 while the CF19 goes for $3,680.
