We told you last week about the new Palm Pre Plus and Palm Pixi, that would be coming to Verizon soon, good news as it looks like both of Palm’s new handsets will be available on Verizon Wireless from the 25th of January.
The major change to the Plam Pre Plus, is that the navigation button that was on the original Pre, which is designed to provide a simplified navigation, and the internal storage has doubled from 8GB to 16GB.
Both the Palm Pre Plus and the Palm Pixi Plus will feature Palm’s Mobile Hotspot software which enables the smartphones to be used as a mobile hot spot, and there is a tethering application that will let you connect up to five separate devices over WiFi to give them 3G Internet access.
Unfortunately there are still no details on pricing, although the handsets are expected to be competitive to Sprint’s Palm Pricing.
