Backers of the Kickstarter Ouya Console who are still waiting for the arrival of their new Ouya games console, are sure to enjoy this Ouya console unboxing by the Engadget website, even if they haven’t got their very own Ouya console to play with as yet.
The $99 Ouya console has broken Kickstarter records and turned the gaming console market on its head, providing gamers with an open source Android gaming console for under $100. Watch the video after the jump to see the Ouya console unboxed.
Yesterday we also found out that the Ouiya console will also be able to support Android games emulators, allowing owners to enjoy a wide variety of other games originally designed to be played on the Nintendo N64 and NES to name just a few.
“OUYA console offers every game free to try because we believe you shouldn’t buy anything until you know you love it. We love playing games on the TV and we want to bring the most creative, innovative and engaging games back to the TV by allowing any developer—big or small, experienced or new, paparazzi-famous or up-and-coming—to easily build games for the big screen. Your favorite and soon-to-be-favorite games in 1080p—what’s not to love?”
Even if you missed out on the Kickstarter campaign you can pre-order your very own Ouya console directly from the Ouya website for $99. Enjoy!
