Outriders is a new one to three player game created by the games development studio People Can Fly, responsible for Gears of War Judgement and Bulletstorm. The new IP offers a “drop-in-drop-out”, co-op shooter is set in an original dark and desperate sci-fi universe and will be published by Square Enix External Studios. Outriders will be officially launching during the summer months of next year, 2020 and will be available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox one platforms. Creative director Bartosz Kmita had this to say about the game, which takes place on the planet of “Enoch,” as players hunt down a “mysterious signal.”
“Draws on all of our experience from previous titles. It’s a game we’ve wanted to make for a very long time. We describe outriders as a dark modern shooter, geared with traditional values. We’re creating an experience with a strong story you can enjoy with your friends, or on your own. We’re confident we’re building a shooter with powerful gunplay, incredible weaponry, and a hostile new world where you’ll want to spend many hours.”
