We have been hearing rumors for a while that Oppo are working on a new Oppo N1 Mini smartphone, and now according to a recent report, some specifications for the handset have been leaked.
The Oppo N1 Mini will apparently come with a 5 inch display, the original display on the N1 measures 5.9 inches, and the smaller display is expected to feature the same full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels as the original handset.
Enhanced Performance and Processing Power
The new smaller Oppo N1 Mini will come with an eight-core processor, which will either be an Exynos 5422 or a MediaTek MT6592 processor. Both of these processors are known for their robust performance and efficiency. The Exynos 5422, developed by Samsung, features four high-performance Cortex-A15 cores and four energy-efficient Cortex-A7 cores, utilizing ARM’s big.LITTLE architecture. This allows for a seamless balance between power and battery life. On the other hand, the MediaTek MT6592 is a true octa-core processor, capable of running all eight cores simultaneously, providing a smooth and responsive user experience, especially for multitasking and gaming.
Camera and Additional Features
While the leaked specifications primarily focus on the display and processor, it’s worth speculating on other potential features of the Oppo N1 Mini. The original Oppo N1 was renowned for its innovative rotating camera, which allowed users to use the same high-quality camera for both selfies and regular photography. Those are the only specifications for the handset that we know so far, Oppo are also said to be working on another new Android smartphone, the Oppo N2. This could include a larger display, possibly around 6 inches, a more powerful processor, and advanced camera capabilities.
