Opera has today launched their new Mobile App Store available for the following platforms: Android, Blackberry, Java, Palm, Symbian and Windows Mobile. The new Opera Mobile Store has been designed and created in partnership with open app provider Appia, and contains both free and applications that can be bought.
The already has around 140,000 applications across all the platforms on launch and provides and easy way for users to find the applications for their mobile device easily.
“The launch of the Opera Mobile Store supports Opera’s core belief in an open, cross-platform mobile internet experience by providing Opera users with an integrated storefront of mobile applications,” ; explains Mahi de Silva, executive vice president of consumer mobile at Opera.
Developers are welcome to create their own app and will receive a 70 percent return of the net revenue generated by a sale. You can visit the new Opera Mobile App Store from your device now.
