The new OnePlus 6 smartphone is now official and we have all the details on the company’s latest flagship Android device. The specifications are pretty much what we heard before, the handset will come with a 6.28 inch AMOLED display with a FHD+ resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels and a 19:9 aspect ratio
The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and it features an Adreno 630 GPU, there is a choice of 6GB or 8GB of RAM. For storage there are three options, 64GB, 128GB and 256GB.
The OnePlus 6 comes with a notch at the top of the display and it features Face Unlock and a fingerprint scanner, the handset also comes with USB 2.0, Type C, a dual nano-SIM card slot and a 3.5mm audio jack for headphones.
The new OnePlus smartphone is equipped with high end cameras on the front and back, up front there is a 20 megapixel camera with a f/2.0 aperture, on the back there are dual cameras. The dual camera are made up of one 16 megapixel camera with an f/1.7 aperture and one 20 megapixel camera with an f/1.7 aperture.
The handset comes with the company’s Oxygen OS which is based on Android Oreo and it will be available in a range of colors which include Mirror Black Midnight Black and Silk White, the device features a glass back.
Prices for the new OnePlus 6 start at $529 for the 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage model in the US and for £469 for the same model in the UK.
