The new OnePlus 5T smartphone is now official, the handset comes with Android Nougat and now OnePlus has revealed some details about when it will get the Android Oreo update. The company has said that it will release the software update for the handset in early 2018, they did not give a specifcic release date for the software.
The new One Plus 5T comes with a Snapdragon 835 processor and 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, there is also another model of the handset that features 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
Other specifications on the handset include 6 inch AMOLED display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and a FHD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. The handset feature two rear cameras and one front facing cameras.
The rear cameras are made up of a 16 megapixel sensor and a 20 megapixel sensor, the front camera comes with a 16 megapixel sensor. The handset comes with Oxygen OS which is based on Android 7.1.1. Nougat. As soon as we get some details on when the Android Oreo update is coming to the device, we will let you guys know.
