If you are looking for an Android mini computer together that is equipped with an integrated keyboard a new solution called the OneBoard Pro+, is now available for under $300 and might be worth more investigation.
The OneBoard Pro+ is powered by a Rockchip RK3288 ARM Cortex-A17 quad-core processor, supported by 2GB of RAM together with graphics processing handled by a Mali-T764 chip.
Internally the desktop Android computer is equipped with 16GB of storage that can be expanded further using the integrated SD card slot. Other ports on the OneBoard Pro+ computer include both HDMI output and DVI input as well as connectivity provided by 802.11b/g/n WiFi, and Bluetooth 4.0, together with 2 x USB ports.
The OneBoard Pro+ is supplied running Google’s Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and can either be used as a stand-alone desktop computer or simply as just a keyboard for your PC when required, providing dual functionality from one handy desktop device.
The system also allows you to quickly switch between either running the Android operating system to your screen via the mini PC, and using the keyboard on your main desktop-based system with the click of a button.
