Over the last few years fitness trackers have become a very popular devices and can either be worn by attaching devices to your clothing, worn on your wrist or attached to your chest. However new starter OMsignal wants to make wearable technology as natural and unobtrusive as possible.
The new OMsignal Biometric smart clothing range is capable of measuring statistics such as your heart rate, breathing rate, and calories burned. OMsignal CEO Stéphane Marceau says of the current state of fitness trackers.
“We need something that complements life, without getting in the way of life,”-“Clothing is the only type of wearable you’ve been wearing your whole life. Clothing also allows us to access biological functions where they actually happen.”
“Advanced bio-sensing apparel is here to track your activity, physiological stress and fitness levels, helping you get total control over your body. OMsignal Smartwear is high-performance compression gear with health sensors embedded into the fabric to gather your deep biometric signal and vital signs including heart rate, breathing rate, breathing volume, movement (including steps and cadence), movement intensity, heart rate variability and calories burned. “
