This week specifications have been spotted via a benchmarking website for the new Nvidia SHIELD Tablet X1 tablet that is currently under development by Nvidia. Providing a quick look at what you can expect from the hardware within the system and its expected performance.
Specifications for the new Nvidia Shield Tablet X1 Tablet include a NVIDIA Maxwell 256-core GPU offering DX-12, OpenGL 4.4, NVIDIA CUDA, OpenGL ES 3.1, and AEP, together with a 8 CPU-core, 64-bit ARM processor with 4x A57 2MB L2; 4x A53 512KB L2.
Graphics are provided by support for H.265, VP9 4K 60 fps, Video 4k H.265, 4k VP9, 4k H.264, the features includeIsolated Power Rails, Fourth-Generation Cluster Switching and a display offering 4K x 2K @60 Hz, 1080p @120 Hz
HDMI 2.0 60 fps, HDCP 2.2.
Unfortunately no other details have been announced as yet but the new Nvidia Shield Tablet X1 Tablet comes equipped with an 8 inch display capable of providing a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and comes equipped with GPS, Bluetooth and wireless connectivity.
