NVIDIA has launched their new 3DTV Play technology that will let you hook up your PC to a 3DTV so you can play 3D games in HD on a large screen.
The NVIDIA 3DTV Play works with a HDMI 1.4 connection, and you will also have to wear a pair of 3D glasses that come with your 3DHTDV. The software will enable gamers to play up to 400 supported games.
“3DTV Play software lets you connect any compatible NVIDIA GeForce GPU-powered PC or notebook to 3D TVs for the ultimate, high-definition, big-screen, 3D entertainment experience. By leveraging the processing power of NVIDIA GeForce GPUs, 3DTV Play software delivers the best the PC has to offer: play hundreds of standard PC games in stunning 3D environments.”
Seamless Integration and Compatibility
One of the standout features of NVIDIA’s 3DTV Play technology is its seamless integration with existing hardware. The games don’t need any conversion or patches and they will work right out of the box, so you could be playing World of Warcraft or Battlefield 2 in 3D. This ease of use is a significant advantage for gamers who want to dive straight into their favorite titles without worrying about technical adjustments.
Moreover, the software is designed to be compatible with a wide range of NVIDIA GeForce GPUs, ensuring that a broad audience can take advantage of this technology. Whether you have a high-end gaming rig or a more modest setup, as long as your system meets the minimum requirements, you can enjoy 3D gaming on your HDTV.
Enhanced Gaming Experience
The 3DTV Play software promises to elevate the gaming experience to new heights. By leveraging the processing power of NVIDIA GeForce GPUs, the software delivers stunning 3D environments that make games more immersive than ever before. Imagine exploring the vast landscapes of World of Warcraft or engaging in intense firefights in Battlefield 2, all in breathtaking 3D. The added depth and realism can make gameplay more engaging and enjoyable.
Additionally, the software supports a wide variety of game genres, from action-packed shooters to intricate role-playing games. This versatility means that no matter what type of games you enjoy, there’s a good chance you’ll find something that benefits from the enhanced 3D visuals.
The software will be available sometime in the spring for $39.99, but if you are already an NVIDIA 3D Vision user the software will be free. This pricing strategy is a great incentive for existing NVIDIA customers, rewarding their loyalty with free access to the new technology.
