Imagined by design student Robert Bye the Nookone is a concept iPhone alarm clock, which can be used either in a landscape or portrait orientation. No details have been detailed on the electronics involved in the Nookone concept, but it seems to be equipped with a speaker a behind the grip slot which is cut into the side of the Nookone.
Currently the design is just a concept and designer Bye is now looking for help to get the project off the ground by publishing the design on his blog and via Redit. With Kickstarter and similar sites available to help designers and inventors get their design to market. One of these avenues might be the way to go for Bye’s Nookone iPhone dock.
