Nokia Lumia 1520 is the next big thing Windows Phone fans should be excited about. The handset is not the best kept secret of the Finnish maker and has been seen in several leaks in the past, including its unofficial press render along with the detailed overview of the device and its features. Now, another image of the phablet’s homescreen surfaced from Chinese shores confirming the screen size once again.
The image was seen on Weibo (Chinese Twitter alternative), showing us the screen of Nokia Lumia 1520 with capacitive touch buttons and Nokia branding. The phablet is expected to be the first one of its kind with a 6-inch full HD display sporting 1080p resolution and a quad-core Snapdragon 800 SoC, which was unintentionally confirmed by the folks at Qualcomm yesterday. Later, they tweeted that it was just a misunderstanding and they have no clue about future devices.
In case you don’t know, the phablet is rumored to feature top of the line specifications in Windows Phone product lineup. Nokia Lumia 1520 is expected to come preloaded with Windows Phone 8 GDR3 update, 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage with a microSD card slot and a massive 3,400 mAh battery. On the back, the phablet will feature a 20MP camera with PureView technology and dual-shot capabilities.
It is likely that Nokia will hold an event on October 22nd where the company will unleash Nokia Lumia 1520, with an expected availability early November on AT&T for $699.
