Back in June we heard that Nokia was acquiring imaging technology firm Scalado, a company which develops a a range of imaging applications for mobile devices.
Nokia had been working with Scalado for 10 years, and they had helped Nokia develop many of their imaging applications for the mobile devices before the acquisition.
The deal has now been completed and Nokia now owns Scalado, and around 50 of the companies developers have now joined the mobile imaging department at Nokia.
It will be interesting to see what Nokia does with the technology, and we are looking forward to seeing some of Nokia’s new devices which use the technology.
