The new Nokia 2 was made official last month, the handset is HMD’s entry level Android smartphone and it has now gone up for pre-order in the US. The new Nokia smartphone is now available to pre-order for $99 in the US.
The handset is being sold by a number of retailers which include Best Buy, Amazon and B&H. The handset is only compatible with mobile carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile. It is not compatible with Verizon or Sprint.
As a reminder the Nokia 2 comes with a a 5 inch display that features a HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The handset comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 mobile processor. There is also 1GB of RAM and 8GB of built in storage. If you need some extra storage there is a microSD card slot which supports up to 128GB cards.
The handset comes with Android 71.1. Nougat and it will be updated to Android 8.0 Oreo in the future. It features a 5 megapixel front facing camera for selfies and video calls, on the back of the device there is also an 8 megapixel camera for photos and videos.
The device also come with a 4100 mAh battery and features the Google Assistant. It comes with unlimited online photo storage with Google Photos. Pre-orders ate now available in the US from the retailers listed above.
