Eaze is a new Google Glass app that lets you pay your bill using Bitcoin. The app works by you nodding your head, and the company intends to add normal currencies to the app as well.
The video below shows how the Eaze app works, and as the name suggests, the app is designed to make it easier to pay for basically anything.
Today, at Bitcoin 2014 in Amsterdam, EAZE released the public beta of their innovative Google Glass payment App; “Nod To Pay”. Glass users can now download “Nod To Pay”, install it on their Glass and use it to make bitcoin payments with their favorite existing bitcoin wallets.
As from today “Nod To Pay” supports both wallets from Blockchain.info and Coinbase, with more wallets on the way. Both Blockchain.info and Coinbase are leading bitcoin wallet providers covering more than three million wallets worldwide.
How Eaze Works
Eaze leverages the unique capabilities of Google Glass to provide a seamless and futuristic payment experience. The app uses the motion sensors in Google Glass to detect a nod from the user, which then triggers the payment process. This hands-free approach is particularly useful in situations where you might not want to pull out your phone or wallet, such as when you’re carrying groceries or in a crowded place.
