If you are interested in learning more about the new Labo range of cardboard accessories which have been created and recently launched by Nintendo to accompany their awesome Nintendo Switch games console. You are sure to enjoy the seven minute video below which has been created by the team over at the Verge providing a look at how you can program and construct musical instruments using the new cardboard Nintendo Labo kits.
In a similar way to Apple’s Swift Playgrounds which doesn’t actually teach you how to code, the Toy-Con Garage is a platform to teach children about code and its different components. Watch the demonstration below to learn more about what you can expect from the musical instrument side of the cardboard kits which allow you to create your very own piano from cardboard and combine it with the electronics in the Switch console and Joy-Con controllers. The Toy-Con Garage works with a series of input and output nodes. You can set your input (for instance, a touch bar) and connect that to an output node (in our case, making a guitar sound).
