Fancy your own real mechanical exoskeleton suit? The next generation XOS 2 Exoskeleton has been unveiled and is lighter and stronger than its previous design. Its even quicker and light enough to now play soccer in. Watch the video after the jump to see it in action.
The suit is fitted with sensors that track the users movements providing extra support and strength when required. Using XOS the user can run, walk, cope with stairs and ramps and move heavy objects.
The XOS 2 Exoskeleton has been designed to help the military move ammunition and supplies easily in the field.
The only downside to the system at the moment is that it needs to be tethered with cables providing power and support. Raytheon is working on a new model 3 that should hopefully be unteathered.
