LG has announced that it will be launching a new range of LG Ultra Monitors at CES 2019 in January, this will include the new LG Ultrawide Monitor with a 49 inch display.
The company will also be launching a new LG UltraGear gaming monitor which will come with a 21:9 aspect ratio.
LG UltraWide Monitor: A Game Changer for Multitasking
LG’s newest UltraWide Monitor features a large, 32:9 aspect ratio curved screen that delivers exceptional picture quality. With its cinematic scale, LG 49WL95 is a high quality solution that replaces the cumbersome multi-screen setup. The additional space supplied by its 49-inch display and incredible aspect ratio makes the LG UltraWide ideal for multitasking. A pixel count of 5120 x 1440 (equivalent to two 27-inch Quad High Definition side-by-side) and 108 pixels per inch (PPI) ensures optimal image clarity, meaning documents are easier to read and videos and image files, easier to edit.
The LG UltraWide Monitor is designed to cater to professionals who require extensive screen real estate for their work. Whether you are a video editor, graphic designer, or a financial analyst, the expansive 49-inch display allows you to have multiple applications open simultaneously without the need for multiple monitors. This not only enhances productivity but also reduces the clutter and complexity of a multi-monitor setup.
Moreover, the monitor’s curved design provides an immersive viewing experience, making it easier to focus on your work. The curvature of the screen ensures that the edges are at an equal distance from your eyes, reducing distortion and eye strain. This is particularly beneficial for tasks that require prolonged periods of screen time.
LG UltraGear Gaming Monitor: Elevating the Gaming Experience
The new LG UltraGear gaming monitor is set to impress gamers with its 21:9 aspect ratio, which offers a wider field of view compared to traditional 16:9 monitors. This wider aspect ratio is particularly advantageous in gaming, as it allows players to see more of the game environment, providing a competitive edge in fast-paced games.
The UltraGear monitor is expected to feature high refresh rates and low response times, which are critical for a smooth and responsive gaming experience. High refresh rates ensure that the monitor can display more frames per second, reducing motion blur and providing a more fluid visual experience. Low response times minimize the delay between a player’s input and the corresponding action on the screen, making the monitor highly responsive to fast-paced gaming scenarios.
In addition to its performance features, the UltraGear monitor is likely to come with advanced technologies such as NVIDIA G-SYNC or AMD FreeSync, which synchronize the monitor’s refresh rate with the graphics card’s frame rate. This eliminates screen tearing and stuttering, providing a seamless and immersive gaming experience.
The design of the UltraGear monitor is also expected to be gamer-centric, with customizable RGB lighting and ergonomic adjustments to ensure comfort during long gaming sessions. The monitor’s stand is likely to offer height, tilt, and swivel adjustments, allowing gamers to find the perfect viewing angle.
