The launch of a new Apple iMac has been rumoured for some time, as it has been a while since Apple has updated or launched any new iMac systems with radically different technology or designs.
Now information is indicating that Apple might be readying an imminent iMac update which will include a radically new case design for Apple’s iMac.
Providing it with a much thinner profile which could possibly be teardrop in shape, according to details leaked on a Chinese forum called WeiPhone.
The information reveals that curved rear panel and tapered edges might be included in the new iMacs design when it is unveiled. Which has been possible to create with Apple using a new and more advanced lamination process, while fitting the glass top sheet to the display panel itself.
The new information is still speculation at the moment and Apple has yet to confirm anything with regards new iMacs being released. But it is rumoured that the new thinner iMacs if released will come with a higher price point than previous versions. As soon as more information comes to light we will keep you updated as always.
