Check out gameplay demos of the three maps in the videos after the break.
The new Halo Noble Map Pack will be available on Xbox Live from the 30th of November, for 800 Microsoft Points.
Tempest Map
The new Tempest map is an abandoned shoreline facility that bends both sea and sky to an unnatural cause, but the ground itself has quickly become another all too familiar battlefield. This map is designed for medium to large-scale battles, making it perfect for team-based gameplay. The map’s layout includes a variety of structures and natural formations, providing numerous vantage points and hiding spots. Players can expect intense firefights in the open areas, while the enclosed spaces offer opportunities for close-quarters combat. The dynamic weather effects and changing tides add an extra layer of strategy, forcing players to adapt their tactics on the fly.
Anchor 9 Map
The new Anchor 9 is a low orbit dry-dock where UNSC craft undergo rapid repair and rearmament in support of the enduring war effort. This map is set in space, offering a unique zero-gravity environment that affects movement and combat. Players will need to master the use of jetpacks and other equipment to navigate the map effectively. The layout includes multiple levels and interconnected pathways, encouraging vertical gameplay and strategic positioning. The map’s design also features several control points that teams must capture and defend, adding an objective-based element to the battles. The stunning visuals of the Earth and stars in the background create an immersive experience that sets Anchor 9 apart from other maps.
Breakpoint Map
The new Breakpoint map is located in the icy lands, where modular archaeological labs were never intended to withstand such a large-scale onslaught of Covenant military power. The information being extracted here may prove vital to humanity’s survival. This map is ideal for large-scale battles, with its expansive terrain and multiple objectives. The icy environment affects player movement, making it crucial to find the best routes and cover. The map includes a mix of open areas and tight corridors, providing opportunities for both long-range and close-quarters combat. Vehicles play a significant role in this map, with several available for players to use in their strategies. The dynamic weather conditions, such as snowstorms, can impact visibility and add an extra layer of challenge to the gameplay.
